The Intro to this riff can be played many ways. The way I transcribed it can
be played by one guitar (simulated 12 string effect)or by two guitars (12
string and 6 string acoustics). The moving line in the chorus sections makes
this song really come alive. It uses trills and muted strings to turn an
otherwise normal riff into something exciting. KISS puts their all into
this tune. Paul stanley plays solid rhythm guitar throughout allowing Ace to
play high unison bends to accompany Paul's chords. The solo is typical Ace:
Bending and Vibrato, fast pentatonic runs and as in some other KISS songs,
two solo guitars. Guitar 1 ends with a decending run ending on a B note
allowing Guitar 2 to play a bent double-stop riff in the standard pentatonic
position. All in all a GREAT two guitar tune. Enjoy!
